Desert Hills Bible Institute is planning to offer two to three summer condensed courses taught by Dr. Stephen J. Wellum, Dr. Stuart Scott, and our own Dr. Robb Brunansky. All courses are available to full students and auditors and qualify for academic course credit through both The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Phoenix Seminary. Course Information & Interest

Dr. Stephen Wellum is Professor of Christian Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. In addition to serving as editor of the Southern Baptist Journal of Theology and Theological Editor at the online journal Christ Over All, Wellum is author of Systematic Theology: From Canon to Concept, God the Son Incarnate: The Doctrine of Christ, and co-author with Dr. Peter Gentry of Kingdom through Covenant: A Biblical-Theological Understanding of the Covenants.

Dr. Wellum would teach a course in the field of theology, for example:

Systematic Theology
The doctrine of the person and work Christ
Contemporary issues in biblical and systematic theology

Dr. Stuart Scott is adjunct Professor of Biblical Counseling at Bob Jones University. He also teaches adjunctively at both The Master’s University in Los Angeles, CA and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. In addition to serving as Executive Director of One-Eighty Ministries, he is also a Fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Scott is author of Biblical Manhood: Masculinity, Leadership, and Decision Making, Killing Sinful Habits: Conquering Sin with Radical Faith, and co-author with Dr. Heath Lambert of Counseling the Hard Cases: True Stories Illustrating the Sufficiency of God’s Resources in Scripture.

Dr. Scott would teach a course in the field of biblical counseling, for example:

Introduction to biblical counseling
Marriage and family relations
Navigating issues of overcoming sin, forgiveness, and/or gender ideology with biblical truth

Dr. Robert Brunansky serves as Teaching Pastor at Desert Hills Bible Church in Glendale, AZ. Under his uncompromising preaching and exemplary leadership through the challenging years of global health epidemic and cultural upheaval, Desert Hills Bible Church has grown markedly both numerically and spiritually, including launching Desert Hills Bible Institute. Dr. Brunansky also hosts the podcast Relentlessly Biblical.

Dr. Brunansky would teach a primer course in the field of biblical languages, for example:

Biblical Hebrew
