The Carters
Michael and Cathalain Carter serve with Mission to the World in Nagoya, Japan. Their goal is to produce self-sustaining, self-governing, self-propagating churches in Nagoya. In March 2016 the Carters began various outreaches in their church plant target area but finding space was difficult. They began a monthly prayer meeting in 2018 specifically for the church plant. Within a year a three-story facility was provided, and remodeling was completed in June 2019. In April 2021 worship services began but were limited to the vision team. On January 22, 2023, Nagoya Central Church was officially opened! The Carters continue to help facilitate an English outreach program, cooking classes, prayer meeting and Bible studies.

The Moorheads
Jonathan and Sharon Moorhead have been missionaries since 2008, serving first in Samara, Russia and then in the Czech Republic, training Pastors. Now they are devoted to planting Geneva Bible Church (GBC) in Switzerland.
As an English-speaking church, GBC will serve the large expat community of Geneva, particularly those who are temporary residents who do not plan to learn French. The prayer is that these people will be trained and then return to their home countries, some of which are closed to the Gospel.

The Jones
Bob and Nanci Jones are members of DHBC and in 2022 began serving with Global Training Network (GTN) in Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan. Eight-five percent of pastors in Africa have no formal training in Bible or theology which opens the door to cults and false teaching. The Jones’ mission is to equip and train pastors, church leaders, and lay teachers who have no other opportunities for training on how to study and teach the Bible. In addition, they teach others about foundational theology, effective prayer, Christian marriage, and how to live the Christian life.
